The second Primate Handshake expedition to Kenya has gotten well underway. The team first met on Thursday night for a meet and greet at a local Ethiopian restaurant.
Some fantastic food, coffee and stories were shared as the new team began to enthuse about what lay in store for them over the next month.

The next morning all the volunteers joined together and boarded the truck and set off to the first destination, Fisherman’s Camp on Lake Naivasha, where they will spend the weekend learning more about where they will be going and the content that they will be creating.
Along the way a brief stop over was made overlooking the breathtaking views of the Rift Valley and also provided an opportunity for both staff and volunteers a chance to purchase some traditional Masai cloth to keep themselves warm during the cold Kenyan nights.

Good morning Laurence. Nice to hear from you.
Glad that the new expedition is on its way. I am sure you are
all now re enthused and the volunteers are ready for Handshaking and
the experience of a life time. Start well with good food coffee and stories.
The Masia cloths looked very interesting. Hope the Kenyan nights are not too cold.
The Rift Valley looks spectacular. Enjoy Fishermans camp and eat fish.!!
I say I loved the photographs on the web. Also the videos now flow with Mr Potatoe heading them up.
I too relived them.
Well done everyone, some very hard work went into that.
Greg, nice hair cut.!!
