Produced by volunteers during the 2009 Expedition to Uganda, this video highlighting the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) XO project and the work of the Kasiisi Project has recently been included by OLPC on their You Tube video channel.

Kasiisi Primary School are unlocking the educational power of the XO laptop -- an initiative that the Great Primate Handshake supports, as Kasiisi pave the way forward helping to educate children and at the same time facilitating access to primate-based educational acitivites, games and discussions using the laptop itself as a platform to do so.
You can learn more about the Kassisi Project by visiting their website and more about the XO laptop project itself by revisiting a blog written by Kate Smith, our volunteer journalist during the expedition itself.

I looked at the video. What a shame they are short the one class worth of laptops.
I hope some company will donate or pay for the extra ones.
A reason to go to school. Amazing. How fortunate are our children.
Good video well done
