Day 15 Hands on projects

Today, each team worked on their projects. The educational team went to Kasiisi School to get a better insight of their needs and to also see how they could facilitate their educational programmes to raise more awareness about conservation. They had a meeting with teachers and discussed their programs, as well as how the Roots and Shoots (JGI Programme) works in the school and the local community.

The video team spent all day at the school making a documentary about the daily routine of pupils and how the latest XO laptop programme has contributed – providing the children with a better quality of life.

The web team stayed at the camp site and worked on flash animations for the website – enjoying the fantastic view and weather.
