Education

The “Handshake” journey was created to transport professionals, volunteers and skilled staff to primate sanctuaries and conservation programmes across Africa to enable valuable skills to be shared between all involved and awareness raising materials created on-site together with local communities, volunteers and primate sanctuary staff.

Educational Activities

During Great Primate Handshake expeditions we will develop fundraising and educational strategies
with experienced organisations, primate programmes, primate sanctuary staff and teachers in a holistic manner to support, enrich and diversify current programmes, activities and outreach initiatives.

We will also develop and implement new technologically-enhanced approaches to education and fundraising that may not currently be available to participants – thus enabling educational programmes and classrooms in Africa to visually and audibly interact and share knowledge with programmes and classrooms globally via the internet.
