Community Enrichment

Existing organisations have already developed a number of challenging community-centred projects aimed at encouraging alternative livelihoods such as sustainable agriculture, water conservation and poverty reduction.

We invite NGOs, organisations and supporting programmes to promote their work to local and international audiences through partnerships and the sharing of onboard technology to achieve unified goals in the community.

Supporting African Communities

We aim to listen to the concerns of communities and provide the ability for them to voice and document their thoughts so we may work with others to implement real-world solutions to improving livlihoods. By supporting community conservation activities and promoting their importance, we intend to encourage audiences to communicate with Africa’s people and support them on the ground.
The GPH would like to raise awareness of community conservation projects as well as:

  • Supporting eco-tourism and utilizing local services where possible.
  • Creating satellite web-pages for individual communities, complete with their own project-specific online donation facility.
  • Support off-shoot community programmes using our workforce and onboard technology.
  • Host community-led open days to explain the Handshake’s objectives and enable communities to voice their thoughts and communicate with global audiences.
